Custom Stainless Steel Drop In (Top Mount) Sinks
Exclusively handcrafted of 316L Marine/Medical grade 16 gauge Stainless Steel. Do you need a replacement for a sink that has been discontinued? Looking for a 48" X 22"drop in sink that is a single or double bowl? Want an upgrade from a triple bowl or double bowl outdated design to a single bowl workstation sink of today? We do this every day. Give me a call. I would love to tell you how simple this is to accomplish. Wait... Before you say NO WAY am I going to have a Top Mount Sink! Think about why you say that... Most commonly people feel they are ugly - well take a look... this is not an ugly sink. Secondly, most people say it is difficult to wipe from the counter into the sink. That will not happen with my workstation sink design. I have had customers select a top mount sink in new construction for two reasons. 1. They like more of the stainless showing. 2. There is no way to chip the edge of the granite around the sink. If you have an under mount sink, check the edge around your sink. I bet there are chips! We can likely help you find a great local granite fabricator to do the work for you. This should be an easy one-day project. I will personally walk you through the entire process to insure your project goes smoothly.See Waterstone Faucets We are Waterstone Authorized Dealers. Rich went from the most difficult sink in the industry to use, to the easiest. Way to go Rich! Rich's kind note:
"Dino, We absolutely love the sink. It is everything you promised and more. It is such a great cook's sink. The hammered look was worth every cent. Rich"The sink below left, is the same sink that was installed in the below right photo.
We replace sinks all the time. If you have an undermount triple or double bowl sink, we can easily replace it with a self rimming top mount sink. This one happens to be a Millennia (textured stainless) sink with our Signature Series sink option. These are getting very popular. All that had to be done was for the homeowner to have the corners of the granite squared up.
"Dino, The sink and faucet are finally installed and boy what a difference. My husband doesn't like the texture but I love it. I have attached a couple pictures of the installed sink as well as one of the old sink. Both the plumber and the granite guy said they liked it a lot especially the texture of it. The plumber said he wished he could afford one like it (hard to believe a plumber couldn't afford one with what they charge). It arrived near my birthday and we got it installed just before our wedding anniversary so it has been a very gifting year. Thank you so much for making my birthday and anniversary this year the greatest. My sink is the best and I am super happy with it."
(Follow up email soon after installation) "My husband has now decided the sink is absolutely terrific, so we are both super happy with it."
I asked Dianna to tell me how long the project took and how much the labor cost was."The time frame to replace the sink was approximately 6 hours (1 hr for the plumber to disconnect, 3 hours for the granite guy to remove the sink and change the granite opening to fit the new sink-put the hole for the faucet and 2 hours for the plumber to reconnect the sink and faucet including installation of the garbage disposal) however it had to be done over a 3 day period because of scheduling (had I known the time involved it might have been done in one day). The plumber charged $335 plus the cost of the new garbage disposal (which I am very happy I did as it appears the old one really had some problems in comparison to this new one) and the granite guy charged $90/hr for a total of $270. Even the granite guy asked about your website for some of his customers. I figure that including the cost of the new disposal I saved between $2000 and $4000 by having you make the sink and getting the great faucet from you over getting a "Chinese" sink & faucet and replacing the granite as would have been required. My husband is beginning to see the advantage of the texture so it is growing on him (he does not like change although he loves the size and quality of the sink and faucet). I am so glad I found your website and spoke with you about the sink - glad you talked me out of a multiple bowl - glad I purchased the terrific faucet from you - my kitchen is so much prettier and I love the sink and faucet more than even I imagined I would. Thank you and your staff for a great purchase. I have several friends who will be green with envy, so of course I will pass on to them your website.
Dianna"
An update 3 years later via email: "We still love the sink - my only regret is that I should have had the drain on the left instead of on the right but that is my fault (us leftys sometimes are pretty backwards). The sink is every bit as gorgeous now as it was when it was first installed. I can't believe have many people comment on how beautiful it is and every day I marvel at how wonderful it is."

This is a Matte Hand-Finished Stainless steel 36X22 sink that replaced an under mount double bowl sink. This is a top mount (self rimming) sink.

Simply set food on the grid, rinse it... then cut on the board, then slide into a bowl (that you would set in the sink to the right). When finished, you don't have to wipe down your countertop (like you do now). You wash and rinse the grid and cutting board and there is no need to dry them.

Our hand finished Matte Hand-Finished Stainless Hammered sink could not be easier to care for. Simply renew the finish with the provided Scotch Brite Pad and in minutes, the sink looks new again. I have one at home that is a farm sink in this finish and it always looks perfectly new and I spend less than two minutes, once a week, keeping it that way. Now, with 316 Marine/Medical Grade Stainless, you have a lifetime investment.

This is a wonderful way to protect your solid surface or stone countertop. This sink is designed as a top mount sink without a rear deck for a faucet. The faucet is installed behind the sink like an undermount sink. The edges of countertops are prone to chipping around sinks. This is a great looking solution. Sink is Hammered Matte Hand-Finished Stainless.

If you think you have no options, you might want to give me a call. This client wanted to replace their double bowl sink, but there was a hole in the countertop behind the sink for an air gap that was outside the boundary for the sink. I came up with a way to cover the hole and make a sink that looks very cool! Signature Series Matte Hand-Finished Stainless.
